April 2012

On Monday we potted up a few patio pots and hanging baskets.
The girls were so excited to see a bee on a "flower" in the grass.

First iris of the year, veggies in the greenhouse.  Instead of starting from seed this year, I let the girls choose a couple vegetables from the store.  They chose tomatoes, mixed garden lettuce, cabbage, and broccoli.
Herb and perennial beds are growing really well (to see what they looked like less than a month ago, check the garden clean-up post)
New home for the potato and garlic box, bleeding heart bush.

What the heck happened to posting since August???

Why haven't I posted since August?  I have no idea.  We did spend most of August camping, and then September at flower shows and camping, and October camping, then the holidays and winter time.  Now that it's spring, we are ready to get to it again!  I'll probably supplement posts with pictures from the end of last year.  But I will get caught up with the happenings of this year this week!
